Adding Value
Ultimately the age-old rule of giving consumers something of meaning and value still applies - now more than ever before.
A brilliant example of this is an app from Green Flag called “rescue me” which enables drivers to send their location data using the iPhone’s GPS. Additional added-value functionalities of the app include traffic updates for the surrounding area, automatic reminders for MOT and insurance renewals.
Another similar example is North Face’s app which allows hikers to track their progress on a trek.
